Why Do I Need a Testing Program?
Let's look at a quick scenario:
 
You have spent countless hours, months, or years developing your fuel additive or product, marketing plans, hired a sales team and built a business around it.
You grew your organization's sales to a point to where you are now taking a larger than planned market share. You have competitors now that will stop at nothing to get that market share...even if it means driving you out of business. They bring a lawsuit against you to prove your product claims...but you only have some in-house data that was proven years ago but it's not sufficient to present in this case.
That's where an on-going testing program would have been a lot more practical and provided your organization with a better set of test data. It is better to have the data before that scenario happens.
 
We have seen it. We have been involved in rushed, expensive 24-hour per day testing to try and meet a deadline to present your case before the National Advertising Division and/or Council of Better Business Bureau to save businesses from closing their doors.
What Testing Programs Are Offered?
We offer various testing programs from quick and expensive emergency testing to meet a deadline to on-going testing and data reporting. Depending on your budget, we can offer weekly testing to provide the data you'll need if you ever end up in the scenario above.
Modified ASTM D6201, available for port injection engines or direct injection, output includes:
 
  • Commissioning and baseline report (calibration)
    • All parameters to be monitored and compared for testing phases
    • Emissions composition
    • Fuel consumption
    • Gasoline fuel analysis (Distillation, gravity, energy content, sulfur, aromatics)
    • Additive analysis
 
  • Test report
    • ‘Dirty-up’ phase:  Carbon weight accumulated on engine valves
    • ‘Clean-up’ phase:  Carbon weight removed on engine valves
    • Emissions composition
    • Fuel consumption
    • Post Analysis
 
Modified SAE J1321 (dynamometer based) output includes:

    • Diesel Fuel analysis (Distillation, gravity, energy content, sulfur, aromatics)

  • Test report

Weekly Testing - Usually provides one test per week in our lab and we present our report and data.
Monthly Testing - Usually provides four tests per month in our lab and we present our report and data weekly or bi-weekly.
Annual Testing - Usually provides multiple tests per month for a year in our lab and we present our report and data weekly.
Contract Testing - Usually provides multiple tests per week in our lab and we present our report and data after each test is completed.
